Shuttle Services at Walter E. Washington Convention Center
If you're planning a tradeshow or conference at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, you can book a fleet of shuttle buses with us for your transportation services—but first, review WEWCC’s official event planning guide to understand your options. In short, you will need to notify your assigned event manager if you’re offering transportation services because coordination is key. You’ll need to work with vendors to develop an efficient plan for loading/unloading operations on L Street, especially if there are two or more events offering attendee shuttles on the same day.
On the other hand, if you want charter bus services just for your group, you can use the DDOT Motor Coach Operations Guide to plan your trip. At the Washington Convention Center, your driver can use the “No Parking Bus Stand” at the 700 block of L Street NW (both the north and south sides) for pickup and dropoff. Then, your driver can head to a reserved parking spot at the Union Station Parking Garage or RFK Stadium, Lot 3.
